Ashes began his competitive career in 2008 playing Gears of War. He attended multiple events and dabbled in Halo before switching to League of Legends. Ashes discovered a passion for coaching and began working with teams of all tiers in order to gain experience. He brought his knowledge and experience with coaching in League of Legends back to Gears of War, joining GLory. He has made a name for himself in the community with his coaching and support tactics, which he adopted from studying top professional coaches in various other eSports titles.

Justin “Kenny” Kenny

Kenny began competing close to the end of the 2008 Gears of War season through the online ladders. He joined a team called iLL By Nature and attended his first tournament in 2011 and would quickly develop his talent, starting to become a dominant force in Gears of War 3 with two 1st place finishes. He competed under many notable banners within the community such as Synergy, Murder By Numbers, and Fury – now Team EnVyUs. Since joining this team, he managed to win his first major LAN event at MLG Columbus.

Alex “Sumuns” Ascencion

Sumuns is a player known for his raw talent in the game and his hunger to become one of the best. He started his competitive career near the end of Gears of War 3 with his first team, OnPoint. His name became more well-known as he quickly dominated the online 1v1 ladders.  He attended two LAN events in Gears of War UE with XGN where they placed 3rd and 4th at MES and MLG Columbus.

Nick Cope, known as, Red Icy is a professional Gears of War player. Icy joined OpTic Gaming after an extended stint with eUnited and is yet to place outside of the top 6. In addition to eUnited, Icy has competed for the likes of Synergy, Denial eSports, and Dream Team.

Gilbert “Xplosive” Rojo

Xplosive started competing in the early days of Gears of War 3. He built his base mechanics and knowledge of the game competing in what is referred to as the “underground”. From there, he helped form and led a team by the name of “GLory” which consisted of three extremely talented players. GLory would place 2nd at Hypefestation 3 for Gears of War 3 before he reformed the roster going into Gears of War UE alongside Lava and Mental. Since then, the team has continued on a very dominant run resulting in multiple top three finishes.

Billy “Mental” Putnam

Mental, known for his insane gameplay and serious demeanor, began competing at a young age of 11 in online ladders and tournaments. He started to break through into the upper echelon of competitive Gears of War during the Hypefestation days of Gears of War 3. He was briefly on a team called Throwdown that made a name for themselves online. In Gears of War UE, he has quickly climbed his way to the top and become regarded as one of the best players in the game. His longshot or sniper skills are feared by all, and he has recorded multiple 1st place finishes throughout his career.
