OpTic Gaming, the premier eSports organization, is excited to announce that it has officially partnered with Red Bull, a long time supporter of both the organization and OpTic Gaming’s co-owner and Call of Duty Team Captain, Matt “Nadeshot” Haag.
Last fall, Matt and the team went through a month-long training camp with Red Bull that pushed OpTic Gaming’s mental and physical limits, and what it means to be an eSports athlete. Red Bull Energy Drink has long fueled our team, and this new partnership will provide the opportunity for Team Optic to participate in Red Bull’s evolving eSports performance program that aims to explore the potential of significantly improving physical, mental and mechanical performance during video game play at the highest professional levels. Building on last year’s OpTic Gaming: Behind the Green Wall web series, Team Optic will also work with Red Bull Media House on new crossover media formats that bring the experience and lifestyle of professional gaming to a wider audience.
“Given Red Bull’s long and ongoing history of supporting eSports professionals, it’s an absolute honor to see our organizations team up to fuel further growth in the eSports realm,” said Hector Rodriguez, Team Owner and Manager at OpTic Gaming. “The amazing support of our fans makes prestigious partnerships like this possible, so a huge ‘thank you’ to all members of the Green Wall and keep an eye out for cool upcoming projects.”
OpTic Gaming is heading into the Call of Duty World Championship with a three-tournament winning streak (UMG Orlando, MLG 5k, MLG Pro League S1 Finals) – don’t miss them competing alongside OpTic Nation this weekend: www.callofduty.com/esports/championships/2015
